Dyson V15 Vacuum Malfunction, Spare Parts Shortage, and Unresponsive Customer Service
I purchased the V15 brand wireless vacuum cleaner from www.dyson.com.tr in May 2023, and unfortunately, after the 5th month, it started malfunctioning and became unusable. Additionally, the silicone seals on the device began falling off on their own. In an attempt to resolve the issue, I sent the vacuum cleaner for service to Dyson Turkey on 27.11.2023. To my disappointment, they informed me that spare parts were unavailable, and their proposed solution was to install components from another model, which I found unacceptable. Expressing my dissatisfaction, I clearly communicated that if the device couldn't be repaired within 15 business days, I expected a replacement with a new product. However, the customer representative I dealt with was neither solution-oriented nor empathetic, and despite my concerns, they insisted on shipping the same device back to me. Returning the device in a state that does not legally fulfill the warranty repair period is far from honest. Considering the significant investment of ₺25,000 in a vacuum cleaner, it is disheartening to experience such insensitivity and tension as a customer. I am urging Dyson to promptly address and resolve my problem or provide a replacement with a new device.
