I purchased a Dyson vacuum cleaner on August 21, 2021. During use, a few small parts broke, which Dyson promptly replaced after I contacted them by phone. I was thrilled and felt I'd made a great choice.
However, on July 16, 2024, the cord retraction mechanism broke. I took it to Biltek, claiming to be Dyson's service center in Kayseri. They said the repair would be charged. When I mentioned the ongoing warranty, they hesitated.
After much effort, I finally reached Dyson and sent the product via courier. They claimed the warranty was void because the vacuum had been used for construction cleanup, which wasn't true. I requested a report or official document stating this, but they refused, simply reading from a pre-printed form.
In short, the 5-year warranty is completely false. My advice: instead of spending money on a Dyson, buy five vacuums from discount stores and throw away the broken ones.
