Dyson V11 Vacuum Motor Noise and Warranty Issue



It's time to go back to local tradesmen. All Dyson products are available except for air purifiers. We also faced issues with the wireless hair straightener, but I overlooked it. However, the V11 vacuum cleaner started having problems even before its warranty expired. First and foremost, the motor began producing a lot of noise, so much so that it disturbed our downstairs neighbor. I've reached out to Dyson about this issue numerous times. Despite acknowledging the problem, nothing was done because we contacted them after the warranty period.
During the sales process, there were assurances like "unbreakable for life" and guaranteed against breakage. So, we thought, let's invest in a lifelong product, even if it costs as much as five brooms. The brand has a reputation for reliability. However, when I was disassembling the dust cap for cleaning, the red rubber piece fell off. I tried to reattach it by following online videos, but it's so thin that it doesn't fit through the slots. "For life"? The part is held by half-millimeter notches. Recent events show that, unfortunately, Turkey is in a position where such brands prioritize sales over product support. Without sanctions like the European Union, filing a lawsuit means paying a hefty price for damages, and it takes years to conclude. So, it's quite normal for the brand not to care.
I used to trust Dyson, and I've seen posts on social media claiming they replaced parts even after the warranty had expired. It's a lie, my friends. These are all remarkable displays. Check the complaints on this platform. See how many were resolved and how much the brand stands behind its products. My final word is from now on, closer to God, far from me. Regretting Dyson...
