Dyson Repeatedly Told Me That The Product Would Be Restocked Shortly

I contacted Dyson customer services on 6 January regarding the Dyson Airstrait and was clearly informed that a 10% discount would be applied to this product and that it would be restocked shortly. Relying on this information, I deliberately postponed my purchase and did not buy the product at the price valid on that date. Since then, I have repeatedly contacted Dyson customer services and checked both the website and availability, but in every reply, I was told that “there is no product” and that it would come to my country within about a week. Despite the long time that has passed since 6 January, the product has still not been restocked, and no clear, written, and reliable information has been provided to me. During this period, the price of the Dyson Airstrait has increased, and I would have purchased it at the previous price if I had not been told there would be a 10% discount soon. My main complaint is that I was misled by the discount promise and repeated “will be in stock in a week” statements, which caused me financial loss and consumer detriment. I also have WhatsApp correspondence that supports what was told to me, and I am ready to submit these if needed. I request a clear and written explanation from Dyson as to whether the promised discount and conditions at the time will be honored, and that my loss caused by these statements be remedied. Otherwise, I reserve my right to apply to the Consumer Arbitration Committee and other relevant authorities.
