Dyson Refuses to Return My Faulty V12 Vacuum Part After Replacement

My Dyson v12 upright vacuum cleaner, whose warranty has expired, broke down on 31.08.2024. When I spoke to Dyson technical service, I was told that my main body needed to be replaced and I accepted. However, I was told that the original and faulty main body that I had previously paid for would be disposed of and would not be sent to me. How would I understand where the faulty main body that I paid for is? How would I know that the faulty product purchased from me will not be offered as a spare part or repaired and put on the second-hand market? After all, why is the product not being sent back to me after the replacement under warranty? This is the company policy. My product is literally being confiscated. Such a ridiculous company policy cannot exist, it is an unlawful action.

My Dyson v12 device broke down after the warranty expired. The main body needs to be replaced for a fee. I can't get it replaced even if I pay for it. Dyson's after-sales service is very bad and they are not helpful. I can't use my product. If possible, consider other brands.
