I purchased my Dyson V12 vacuum cleaner through Dyson.com, and in December 2025, the gray section of the tube broke, with the locking clip coming loose.
Because the product is out of warranty, I was told that they could not assist me. Frankly, it was very disappointing to see a product I paid a high price for treated as if it only had a two-year durability lifespan.
I spoke with customer service multiple times and explained the situation in detail. However, each time I was told that no solution could be offered because the warranty period had ended.
I chose this product with the expectation of durability and long-term use, so having the tube break in this way—and receiving no support—does not feel acceptable to me.
I am requesting that Dyson provide goodwill support for this broken tube part even though the warranty has expired, and that a replacement or repair be offered free of charge or at a reasonable cost, if possible.
