I have been using my Dyson Gen5 cordless vacuum for about a year, but for the past week, it has been shutting off by itself and then not turning back on for 40 seconds. On one day, this happened three times in a row.
I clean and maintain the vacuum regularly and follow all the recommendations from customer service, yet the issue persists. When I contacted Dyson support, they asked me to send a video of the issue. However, since it happens randomly, I cannot predict when it will occur to record it. Am I expected to record hours of video daily just to prove my complaint? I have no reason to lie about a defective product.
There are many similar complaints online, so I expect Dyson to acknowledge and resolve this issue immediately. Is this a common problem, or is my device defective? I demand an urgent response!
