Dyson Gen5 Dust Bin Lid Broke During Normal Use and Warranty Denied
June 23 4:02 PM2

I have been using my Dyson Gen5 vacuum cleaner for about 1.5 years. During normal daily use, the dust bin lid came off and detached from its place. The product has never been dropped, exposed to impact or used in an unusual way. Despite this, when I spoke with customer service, I was informed that the situation was considered outside the scope of the warranty. For me, the problem is not only that the part has failed; the main issue is that a mechanical problem that occurred during routine use was directly considered user-induced, without a detailed technical evaluation. One of my main reasons for choosing Dyson was the expectation of long product life, quality and strong after-sales support, but considering the relatively short usage period and the malfunction experienced, the approach presented has fallen quite below my expectations. I kindly request that the situation be re-evaluated, that the product be technically examined and, if possible, that repair or part replacement support be provided as a gesture of goodwill. I am expecting a solution that prioritises customer satisfaction. I can share my invoice and product information (including serial or order number) if needed to support the process.
