My wife purchased a Dyson Airwrap from the Dyson demo store at Hilltown Mall for my birthday. However, since I wanted the Airstrait, we only opened the gift wrap and did not open the box. When we took it back to the store for a return, they refused to accept it, claiming that the tape on the side of the box was removed. This has caused me significant distress.
The product was purchased on July 6, 2024, and is still within the return period. As a customer, I have the right to return it. It is unacceptable for such an expensive product to be sold to us in this manner without the option to return it. I cannot know whether the product is original or not; in this case, the company should stand behind its brand.
I demand that Dyson adhere to the legal requirements for returns under Law No. 6502. It is against the law to refuse a return of an unopened box within the specified timeframe. I have attached visual evidence showing that the box has never been opened, and the tape was not removed by us, nor was the product taken out.
I am facing a loss of ₺20,000 due to this situation, and I expect a resolution. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
