The Dyson Airstrait, gifted to me as an anniversary present, has been a complete letdown. Despite not having very curly hair, every styling attempt leaves my hair incredibly frizzy, and within an hour, it reverts to its original state as if no styling was done. I downloaded the My Dyson app and meticulously followed all instructions, yet the results remain disappointing. I’ve attached a photo to show the poor outcome.

My previous straightener, which cost just ₺2,000, worked flawlessly, delivering sleek results. I purchased the Airstrait to protect my hair, but this device, costing more than a minimum monthly wage, fails to perform as expected. I demand an explanation and an immediate resolution to this issue.

Today (22.11.2024) at 13:18, a customer representative called me. They said that a response came from the service for your Dyson device, everything is normal, there is nothing abnormal, and the device is normal. So I said? I mean, I said, it makes my hair frizzy, the effect lasts a maximum of 20 minutes, and then my blow-dry gets ruined, you know? They said, since the device has been checked, we can't do anything, I understand you, but I can't change the result. So are you a company that cannot change the result, the great Dyson? If the device we are talking about was a 2,000 TL device, I wouldn't bother, but you sell this device for more than a person's one-month minimum wage, and in the end, you say it has been checked by the service, and we can't do anything, is that so? I took a video while blow-drying my hair with the settings correct and how it looked afterward, and I will apply to the Consumer Arbitration Board with these, and if that doesn't work, I will file a lawsuit under the name of a non-functional machine. I want you to know these things...

I was called again by the Dyson solution center, and they informed me that there was nothing wrong with the device, so they couldn't do anything. However, somehow, on the day it went to service, I received a message saying no issues were found. While I never thought the device was examined, can you look at the invoice I received? The service labeled my Airstrait device as a cordless vacuum cleaner… (because it wasn't even checked) They proceeded without examining my device and sent an SMS saying they are sending it back to me. Such a lack of resolution? What about the service I didn't receive? It doesn't even style my hair... What about the money I paid? Look at what I attached and see how much lack of seriousness there is, please feel free to comment. Now, with these documents and information, I am applying to the Consumer Arbitration Committee and requesting a refund. I would have expected you to do what is necessary, but the situation is clear.

I am still waiting for a response from Dyson customer service... There is never an explanation or solution, we are just waiting for them at their convenience.
