Duolingo renewed my Premium subscription without consent, how can I easily cancel it?

If Duolingo renewed your Premium subscription without your consent, you can easily cancel it to prevent further charges.

Start by checking your subscription settings. If you subscribed through the Duolingo app on a mobile device, manage your subscription via the platform you used—Google Play, Apple App Store, or the Duolingo website.

For Google Play users, go to Subscriptions in your Google Play account, select Duolingo, and choose Cancel Subscription. For Apple users, navigate to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions, find Duolingo, and tap Cancel Subscription.

If you subscribed via the Duolingo website, log into your account, go to Settings > Subscription, and select Cancel Subscription.

After canceling, verify that the subscription shows as canceled and no further renewals are scheduled.

To request a refund for the unauthorized renewal, contact Duolingo support via their Help Center (https://support.duolingo.com/hc/en-us) or email [email protected] with details of the charge.

If the refund is denied, you can dispute the charge with your bank or card provider.
