I started a subscription in the Duolingo mobile app with a one-week free trial. It was stated that I would receive a notification two days before the trial ended, but I never received any notice. Even though I did not use the app after starting the subscription, a ₺969 annual subscription fee was charged to my Türk Telekom phone bill.
