DHL Failed to Deliver My New Year Gift – Package Still Missing After 28 Days
On December 12, I paid ₺5,777 to send a New Year gift to Hungary via DHL. Before accepting the package, the DHL representative inspected each item. Despite waiting for days, the package was never delivered to the recipient. After constant follow-ups, I requested the package to be returned on December 20.
As of January 10, I still haven’t received the package back. To make matters worse, the baklava included in the gift is now spoiled. When I called DHL today to inquire, I spent 20 minutes on hold without reaching anyone. I’ve also been informed that my shipping fee won’t be refunded.
This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable for a company like DHL. I demand an immediate response, a resolution to this issue, and compensation for the ruined gift and wasted fee. This entire process has been incredibly frustrating.
