DHgate Seller Refuses Refund After Customs Blocks Electronics Import
On January 28, 2026, I placed an order through DHgate from a store named "Star87" for 2 Unlocked Mini 3G Smartphone Soyes XS13 phones, intended as student phones for my daughters. I paid a total of $116. However, the phones were never delivered to me by customs.
Customs initially didn't want to explain why the phones weren't being delivered, and later said that ordering electronics from abroad had been suspended as of 2026. Customs says they sent the products back, but I haven't received the phones, and I haven't gotten my money back either.
Even though I've written to the seller and the relevant departments multiple times, the seller isn't taking any responsibility and isn't refunding my money either. I'm requesting that the $116 I paid for my DHgate order, order number 316575960623, be fully refunded to me as soon as possible.
