Dell Laptop Has a Charging Issue and I Can’t Reach Customer Service for Support
Getting a Dell laptop has been a disappointing experience. I bought a Dell laptop from Vatan Computer just a week ago, hoping for a dependable product with the on-site service they promised. Then, the laptop had a charging problem, and no matter what I tried, I couldn't get in touch with Dell by phone or email to let them know about it. The only place I've been able to get in touch with is Vatan Computer, where I purchased the device. This poor customer service from Dell is just not okay, especially since I paid a lot for a product that was supposed to come with easy on-site support. I was hoping for better service and a simpler way to sort out these problems fast.
Dear User friends, here is the latest status regarding my Dell G15 5530 model laptop: 1) The battery lasts a maximum of 3 hours with normal use (just surfing the internet and with no programs running in the background). 2) Continuous video watching time is 3.5 hours. 3) Gaming experience lasts 2 hours. 4) Some customer service representatives give uninformed responses. When buying a Dell, I hope you make a good comparison and remember that in this world, there are honest people who try to spend what they earn with hard work, not just businesses that only think of their own interests. Sincerely.
Hello again, greetings and regards to everyone. I want to inform you about new developments. As of 24.12.2024, since we couldn't reach a solution through discussion, I submitted my refund request to the Consumer Arbitration Committee with the information and documents I have. I will continue the process through the Ministry of Commerce, CİMER, and the courts. Previously, I shared an email from a customer service representative stating that it is normal for a computer of this quality (Dell G15 5530) to last 3 hours under normal use and that even 1 hour would not be abnormal. Today, I will share a different email exchange. In this email, I share a statement indicating that the parts of the same computer, sold cheaper in the USA, are better than ours. As I said before, no matter which brand you buy, make your comparisons, ask for charging times explicitly and in writing, and inquire about the service status. Regards.
