On February 6, 2025, I ordered two pairs of shoes from Columbia’s official website (columbia.com.tr). Then, on February 11, 2025, I received a cancellation notice, claiming a stock issue had occurred, and both of my orders were canceled.
When I contacted customer service, they told me the products were unavailable. However, I checked the website and saw that one of the shoes was still being sold—just under a different product code and a much higher price! I pointed this out, but the response was simply, “Even if you order again, it won’t be shipped.” This is completely unconvincing and unfair.
Here’s what happened: I originally bought the shoes for ₺4,799.95, but now they have been relisted at ₺12,499.90, with a 20% discount at checkout bringing it to ₺9,999.92. As compensation, Columbia offered me a ₺500 discount, which is laughable compared to the price hike.
This is a terrible approach to customer satisfaction. I used to shop at Columbia, but unless this issue is properly resolved, I will never purchase from them again. Columbia, fix this now and honor my original purchase!
