Citroen Berlingo Broke Down at 9000 Km but They Blamed Me Instead of Fixing It
To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally submit a complaint regarding a serious issue I have experienced with my Berlingo vehicle. Although the vehicle’s periodic maintenance is scheduled every 15,000 km, a major engine fault occurred at only 9,000 km. I took the vehicle to an authorized service center, where I was informed that the fault was due to user error, and I was held responsible for the issue. This approach is entirely unacceptable, both from a technical standpoint and in terms of consumer rights. The fact that such a significant malfunction occurred before the scheduled maintenance clearly indicates a possible manufacturing or assembly defect. Therefore, I strongly reject the claim that the damage is due to user error and I do not accept any responsibility for the cost. This situation has severely undermined my trust in the Berlingo brand. I firmly believe that the fault originated from a manufacturing or service-related issue, and I hereby request that all repair costs be fully covered by your company. If this matter is not resolved accordingly, I will be compelled to escalate it to the Consumer Arbitration Committee and pursue all available legal remedies. Sincerely,
