QNB Finansbank Cigna Life Insurance Policy Not Renewed After Borrower's Death

After my mother, the borrower passed away, we discovered that the life insurance policy for our loan taken from QNB Finansbank through Cigna Life in 2017 was not renewed. This loan has four heirs upon death. Despite contacting both the bank and the insurance company for necessary information, we haven't received any explanation for why it wasn't renewed. Typically, supplementary DASK home and life insurance policies for mortgage loans are automatically renewed annually unless stated otherwise by the customer. However, the life insurance policy, which has been consistently paid for almost 7 years, was processed on 07/11/2023 but not renewed. We are currently in a disadvantaged position regarding the compensation and debt status following the death, and the issue remains unresolved. The negligent attitudes from the insurance or bank side regarding this matter not only fail to yield clear outcomes but also create difficulties for us, the heirs. We appreciate any assistance regarding this matter.
