Allianz Cancels 72-Year-Old Mother's Policy Without Warning
Allianz cancelled my 72-year-old mother's policy without any prior warning. My mother, a retired teacher, had taken out health insurance 8 years ago for difficult times, renewing it annually. This year, Allianz terminated the policy, citing payment collection issues. Despite having multiple other automatic payment authorizations, they failed to collect the premium for my mother's policy. They claim to have sent emails and mail, but their communication was inadequate. Despite having our policy issuer's information, they didn't notify us. Our customer representative has been absent for 2 years, and they haven't assigned a new one. Call centers also didn't warn us. Despite my willingness to pay past due installments, they refused to renew my mother's policy, leaving her without security in her old age. Beware of this opportunistic company.
Our policy has been reactivated. Thank you very much to everyone involved in the matter.
