Christian Dior Foundation Pump Defect—Ruined Clothes & Wasted Product

I have been using Christian Dior foundation for a long time, but this time, the product I purchased turned out to be defective. Today, when I tried to pump it, the foundation splattered all over my shirt, completely ruining it.
Not only did I lose an expensive product due to a faulty pump, but I also had to deal with staining my clothes. Should I be upset about my ruined shirt or the poor quality control of a luxury brand I trusted? If even Dior is selling defective products, what are we supposed to rely on?
I expect Dior to take responsibility and offer compensation for this damaged foundation and my ruined shirt. Quality checks should be done before releasing products—this should not happen!
