Chevrolet Aveo Horn Stopped Working After Airbag Recall Repair
The driver-side airbag in my 2012 Chevrolet Aveo was replaced approximately three months ago by Opel Otosay Ankara as part of a recall. After this service was performed, I started experiencing a problem with my vehicle's horn. The horn works intermittently—it works sometimes and does not work at other times—and I have serious safety concerns while driving.
Although I reported the issue to the service center, they did not show sufficient interest and failed to provide a clear solution. I have also had difficulty reaching an appropriate representative by phone, and my frustration has continued to increase as the process has been prolonged.
I request that the horn malfunction that occurred after the work performed by Opel Otosay Ankara be repaired as soon as possible at no cost to me and that the safety of my vehicle be fully restored. I was also told that I would be charged a diagnostic fee, and when I objected, I was dismissively told to go to another service center. During these conversations, I was told, “You can file a complaint wherever you want. Time has passed, and there is nothing I can do.” I deeply regret taking my vehicle there. I consider this to be an extremely disrespectful organization that does not stand behind its work. Ultimately, this is a vehicle component that was serviced as part of a recall, and I expect the service center to take responsibility for the issue that arose after the repair.
