Chery Tiggo 7 Promax Sunroof Shattered and Was Not Covered

On 23/01/2025, I purchased a Chery Tiggo 7 ProMax, and on 11/06/2025, while driving in the city at around 30 km/h with no vehicles in front of me, the panoramic sunroof suddenly shattered for no apparent reason. There was no sign of a rock hitting it or any kind of impact. Despite this, Chery representatives refused to cover the issue under warranty and told me it could only be replaced at a cost or claimed through insurance—though doing so would result in a damage record. When I requested a written statement confirming that the issue was not covered under warranty, they refused to provide it. The fact that there’s no evidence of an external factor and yet the company still refuses to treat it as a warranty issue seriously undermines the brand’s reliability. On top of that, their unwillingness to put their stance in writing suggests a lack of confidence in their own service. This situation must be resolved to address the inconvenience I’ve suffered.
The company does not take any responsibility in any way.
