Unrecognized OpenAI Charge Prompts Bank Account Freeze and Refund Request
At around 12:30 PM on June 3, I noticed a transaction on my Enpara account for $24, described as "openai chatgpt Subscr San Francisco us," even though I've never subscribed to anything like this. I don't have any subscription with ChatGPT or the related company.
As soon as I noticed this, I contacted the bank, and as a result of that conversation, my account was frozen. Right now, the only suspicious amount that's been charged from my account is this $24. I specifically want to point out that I absolutely did not make this transaction, did not give any approval for it, and did not start any subscription.
I'm requesting a full refund of this $24, which was charged without my permission, from both Enpara and the relevant ChatGPT/OpenAI company. I also want to be informed about how this kind of transaction was able to happen, and I want my account to be secured against similar unauthorized transactions in the future.
