ChatGPT Lacks Text-to-Speech Feature on Android—Requesting Equal Access
Hello, I’ve been using the ChatGPT app on my Android device, and while the overall performance is smooth and satisfying, I’ve noticed a major missing feature: the “Read Aloud” (text-to-speech) function that’s available on iOS is not available on Android.
This feature is incredibly useful, especially for those who rely on accessibility tools or prefer to consume responses audibly for convenience or comprehension. As an Android user, I feel left out of a complete and equal experience, and I believe many others feel the same.
OpenAI, I’m kindly requesting that you bring the text-to-speech feature to Android as soon as possible. It’s not just about functionality—it’s about fairness and improving user experience across all platforms. Please consider this a priority for your next update. Android users deserve the same tools and support as iOS users.
