As a ChatGPT Pro subscriber, I’m reporting a serious service malfunction that’s been going on for hours. Basic operations like processing subtitle files (SRT conversion, file saving, etc.) consistently fail with a repeated “acetoomanyrequestsexception” error. Even local file-saving tasks are restricted. These aren't edge-case features—these are fundamental functions that should always work.
What's even more concerning is that the status.openai.com page claims all systems are operational. That’s simply not true. I’ve experienced connection losses, blocked operations, and complete workflow breakdowns. I’ve even documented these issues with screenshots.
I’m not asking for a refund—I’m demanding accountability and action:
Immediate full restoration of the service’s core functionality.
A transparent explanation about why the status page falsely reports no issues.
Compensation for the downtime, delays, and disrupted work.
A clear commitment that Pro users won’t face arbitrary limits like “acetoomanyrequestsexception” on essential features.
As a paying Pro user, I expect reliability, not disruptions that impact my productivity. This kind of service failure is unacceptable, and it’s OpenAI’s responsibility to make it right.
