While using the Character.AI app on my iOS device, I am experiencing a serious issue with advertisements. Whenever an ad appears, no matter how many times I tap the “skip” button, I cannot skip it. Additionally, when I try tapping other buttons, such as “download app” or similar options within the ad, none of them respond—the buttons are completely unresponsive.
Because of this, as soon as an ad appears, the app becomes unusable. I am unable to continue using the app until the ad finishes, which significantly disrupts the experience. Interestingly, when I turn on a VPN, the issue is completely resolved and I can skip ads normally.
This makes me think the issue may be related to my account or a regional setting. The email address registered to my Character.AI account is: i***[email protected]
