Carrefour LOFT T Shirt Return Rejected

On 26.03.2026, I purchased a LOFT brand T-shirt from the CarrefourSA Merter Hyper branch in Bakırköy, Istanbul. On 27.03.2026, I went to the CarrefourSA Zonguldak branch to return this product. My return request was rejected on the grounds that “we do not have the same model in our store.” However, LOFT branded products in different models are clearly on sale in the same store. In other words, the brand is available, sales continue, but the return of the product I purchased from another CarrefourSA store is not accepted. I find this practice contrary to consumer rights, inconsistent with the logic of operating as a chain store, and far from a corporate approach. It is difficult to understand how a brand as large as CarrefourSA cannot resolve such a simple and clear issue in a customer‑oriented manner. I buy a product in Istanbul and I cannot return it in another city within the same chain; in this case, I question what the point of being a chain store is. I request that my return process for the LOFT brand T-shirt be accepted at the CarrefourSA Zonguldak branch or that a clear and lawful solution be provided promptly, and that such a situation will not be repeated for other customers.
