Carrefour Expired Product Sold: Health Issue After Eating Expired Food

On 23 September 2026 I shopped at the CarrefourSA Antalya Evrenseki Kumköy branch and bought 5 units of a product. I consumed one of them the same evening and later that night I became seriously unwell. After this, I checked the product packaging and saw that the expiry date was 18 September, so the product I bought and consumed was already past its use-by date. I have also taken a photo of the product cap where the expiry date is clearly visible. Selling products whose expiration date has passed is a serious threat to consumer health, and in my case it has already caused a health problem. I expect CarrefourSA to take this situation seriously, investigate how this product remained on the shelf after its expiry date and take the necessary measures so that such negligence is not repeated. Due to the health problem and the risk I was exposed to, I request compensation from CarrefourSA and expect my grievance to be resolved as soon as possible.
