Carjet Rental Deposit Still Unpaid Months Past Promised Date
Through a reservation I made via Carjet, I rented a Citroën from the company Nokta, picking it up from Istanbul Airport for the dates January 12–15, 2026. After returning the vehicle, a deposit of €510.39 (approximately $533) was charged to my credit card on January 13, 2026, and I have the bank receipt for this transaction. I was told the deposit would be automatically refunded to my account within 45–60 business days, but that timeframe has long since passed, and no refund has been issued.
I've contacted both Carjet and Nokta multiple times throughout this process. I reached out to Carjet around 4–5 times. I also spoke with Nokta by phone at least 4–5 times. Both sides told me every time that the deposit would be refunded — specifically that payment would be made within 45–60 business days, and when that didn't happen, that it would definitely be deposited after the holiday. Despite this, as of today, still no refund has been made to my account.
I'm requesting that the €510.39 deposit tied to reservation number CJT-196480060 be refunded to my account immediately and without delay, with no deductions whatsoever. I'd appreciate it if both Carjet, as the rental booking intermediary, and Nokta, as the rental company, would work together to resolve this situation urgently, and if I could receive a written explanation for this lengthy delay.
