Working with Care.com has been aggravating. No matter which browser I use, the site is truly buggy and crashes every time I attempt to open a message. It complicates and renders the entire process untrustworthy. I tried contacting Care.com customer service for assistance but never heard back. They don’t seem to prioritize fixing these problems or helping their customers. The way they handle applications also troubled me. They send alerts that make it seem like there’s high demand for your job post. Once you pay to upgrade and reach out, though, you find that many of them aren’t available and didn’t even apply themselves. It feels misleading. I would advise against upgrading—there are better, more dependable services out there.
