CapCut Charged Me Every Month Even Though I Never Purchased Pro
I use the CapCut application on my iPhone and have never knowingly purchased a CapCut Pro subscription. Despite this, I recently discovered that approximately $5 has been charged to my bank card every month on a recurring basis.
This issue has been ongoing since June 10, and the total amount withdrawn from my card has now reached approximately $20. I never intentionally subscribed to any Pro plan, authorized recurring payments, or agreed to a monthly billing arrangement. For this reason, I was shocked to discover that charges had been continuing without my knowledge.
The repeated withdrawals have caused both financial inconvenience and frustration. As a user, I expect clear notification and consent before any recurring subscription charges are processed. In this case, I do not believe I knowingly enrolled in a paid subscription, yet my card has continued to be billed.
I attempted to find assistance regarding this issue, but I was unable to locate a clear customer support channel or accessible contact method through either CapCut or the App Store. The lack of support options has made it difficult to understand why these charges occurred or how to stop them.
I request that all unauthorized recurring charges be stopped immediately and that the approximately $20 already deducted from my bank card be fully refunded. I also request confirmation that no active subscription remains associated with my account and that no future payments will be processed without my explicit consent.
Additionally, I would appreciate a written explanation regarding how this subscription was allegedly activated and why recurring charges were applied despite my belief that I had never purchased a Pro membership.
