CamScanner Charges Over $27 via Direct Carrier Billing After Free Trial Cancellation

5

Despite canceling my subscription within the free trial period on the CamScanner app, I noticed on my latest mobile bill that an amount of over $27 was charged to my account via the direct carrier billing ("pay via phone bill") option.

Because I canceled the subscription within the app before the trial period expired, I expected no charges to be processed. However, despite the subscription showing as canceled, the fee was still billed to my mobile statement, leaving me in a difficult position.

Before contacting CamScanner and my mobile operator directly, I wanted to post this complaint online. I demand that this charge billed to my mobile line be canceled and fully refunded, and that the subscription be permanently terminated so that no future charges can occur.
