CamScanner Charged Me for an Unauthorized Annual Subscription
I am using CamScanner on my iPhone and on 09-07-2026 an unauthorized subscription was charged to my mobile money account linked to my Centenary number, with an amount of 198,983 Ugandan shillings. I did not knowingly approve or intend to purchase this subscription. When I opened the CamScanner app to check what had happened, I saw that my subscription is shown as active and set to end in July 2027, which means it appears to be a long-term subscription I never wanted. I have not yet been able to contact Apple Support or CamScanner support directly and I am using this complaint to explain my situation clearly. I request that this unauthorized subscription be cancelled immediately and that the full amount of 198,983 Ugandan shillings charged on 09-07-2026 be refunded to me, as I did not consent to this purchase. I ask that you review the transaction records associated with my account and payment method and assist me in resolving this issue as quickly as possible.
