On January 15, 2025, I purchased a brand-new BYD Dolphin. However, from day one, I noticed problems with the heating system and contacted the dealership. Their response? "Take it to a nearby service center."
By January 25, 2025, the car stopped accelerating properly and was undrivable. I took it to the service center on January 27, and they told me the radiator was damaged. However, I have never had an accident, impact, or collision—this issue was clearly there from the start.
Instead of fixing the issue under warranty, they refused to replace the vehicle and demanded over ₺30,000 for a radiator replacement! My car is only 10 days old and has just 850 km, yet they expect me to pay for a factory defect.
The dealership’s attitude is aggressive and dismissive. BYD is already selling cars at high prices, and now they’re forcing customers to pay for manufacturing defects. They act this way because they know legal action takes time, so they’re completely unbothered.
BYD, fix this immediately! I demand a full repair at no cost or a replacement vehicle. Has anyone else faced this? This is unacceptable!
