Budget Charged €400 for Minor Scratch on Rear Bumper, Unjustified Deduction

Between June 3-12, I rented a car from Budget at Sarajevo Airport. While parking, I lightly scraped the rear bumper, causing a minor scratch. Despite the small damage, Budget charged me €400, which I find to be an unreasonable deduction. The actual repair cost couldn’t be more than €100 at most. I even consulted a local car rental company, and they confirmed that for such minor damage, the charge would have been between €50-100. Initially, Budget demanded €500 but then lowered it to €400, which still feels like a rip-off. I believe this is an unfair charge and will not be renting from Budget again. I demand a proper explanation and a refund for this excessive fee.
