Buddy.ai Subscription Renewed Without My Consent
On the night of February 15, 2026, I noticed that approximately $18 was charged to my Enpara card via Google for an app called Buddy.ai without my knowledge or consent. I had used this app about two years ago for my child and did not renew it after the subscription expired. I also do not currently have an active account on the app.
Despite not approving any subscription renewal, this charge was made to my card, which has caused me both financial and emotional distress. When I contacted my bank, they informed me that the transaction is still pending and that I should contact the company that made the charge.
I request that this unauthorized charge be immediately canceled and that the full $18 be refunded to me. I also ask that this incident—where my card information was used without permission—be investigated and that necessary measures be taken to prevent similar situations from happening again.
