I purchased a Bosch dishwasher in 2019 with a 5-year warranty, and now it’s showing an E09 error. I’ve always trusted Bosch and even extended the warranties for all my appliances, paying as much as the cost of a washing machine for the extensions. Last year, I even added a Bosch dryer to my collection.
Now, Bosch service is asking for ₺11,000 to replace the heat pump, while a new dishwasher costs around ₺18,000. This pricing policy is completely unreasonable. When I mentioned buying a new machine, the service technician told me my current one is "very high quality." If so, why did it fail after just 5 years?
To make matters worse, my extended warranty expired only 4 months ago, and the machine was not even used during the summer. No goodwill discount has been offered, despite the circumstances. I am deeply disappointed that such an expensive appliance failed so soon. Bosch should address this issue fairly—either repair the machine at a reasonable cost or offer a replacement. If not, I will reconsider my future purchases from the brand.
