I am absolutely furious and feel completely ripped off by Booking.com! On May 27, I made a reservation through their platform, and then, due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to cancel it just 15 minutes later. We didn't use any of the hotel's services, nor did we cause them any inconvenience.
Yesterday, I discovered that the property never refunded the $3,500 they charged! I immediately called Booking.com, expecting them to intervene and resolve this blatant injustice, but they were absolutely no help at all. How is this even possible? We never even stayed there, yet they took the entire amount!
I put my trust in Booking.com when I made that reservation, believing they would protect me as a customer. Instead, when a problem arose, they completely abandoned me. This isn't just about a lost booking; it's about being scammed out of $3,500 for services I never received. Booking.com, you need to take responsibility for this! I demand a full and immediate refund of my $3,500. You allowed this to happen on your platform, and you must ensure your customers are not defrauded.
