I Paid Booking.com for David Residence Phuket But Got No Confirmation

On March 23, 2025, I made a reservation through Booking.com for David Residence in Phuket. The payment of 3000₺ was immediately withdrawn from my account, but I never received a confirmation email, reservation code, or any booking details. I assumed the reservation had gone through because the payment was processed.
However, when we arrived at the property on the scheduled date, the staff told us there was no reservation under my name. We were left stranded late at night in a foreign country with nowhere to stay. We had to pay again out of pocket to secure another hotel on the spot.
Since then, I’ve emailed Booking.com multiple times, but all I receive are generic, copy-pasted responses. It has been months, and I still haven’t received a refund for the original payment. This is unacceptable and incredibly stressful. I demand Booking.com take responsibility, acknowledge their error, and immediately return my 3000₺. No customer should be left homeless after trusting a major platform to handle their travel plans.
