On August 8, 2025, my credit card was charged €1,028 under the description “Bkg Hotel at Booking Amsterdam” without my knowledge or authorization. I did not make any hotel reservation or payment on that date, nor did I receive any confirmation notification via SMS, email, or other channels. This transaction was carried out entirely without my consent.
As soon as I noticed the charge, I immediately canceled my card and filed a dispute with my bank to block or reverse the payment. This is the first time I have encountered such an incident, and the transaction record only contains the description “Bkg Hotel at Booking Amsterdam” with no additional details.
I request the urgent refund of the full €1,028 and a clear explanation of how such an unauthorized charge could occur. This situation has caused serious inconvenience, and I expect Booking.com to act quickly to resolve the issue and prevent similar cases in the future.
