On May 20, 2024, two unauthorized transactions were charged to my credit card by "bkg Hotel at booking.com at Amsterdam"—one for €344 and another for $25. I did not make these bookings, and they do not appear in my Booking.com account.
I have never shared my card or login information with anyone, and I have no idea how this charge was made. The transaction is completely fraudulent and does not belong to me. As soon as I noticed the unauthorized activity, I immediately canceled my credit card to prevent further misuse.
Booking.com, I am requesting that this charge be fully reversed and my financial loss compensated without delay. I also urge you to investigate this security breach, as clearly someone has used your platform to make fraudulent bookings. I expect prompt action and a resolution to protect your users from further harm.
