Booking.com WhatsApp Scam With Reservation Details

On November 9, 2025, at around 7:00 PM, I received a WhatsApp message from the number +91 78456 47066 regarding my Booking.com reservation at Colmar Paul & Pia – Welcome Home Hotel. The person claimed to be a hotel representative. The message included all of my reservation details and asked me to complete a verification step. When they stated that my reservation would be canceled otherwise, I unintentionally clicked the link they sent, but I closed the page without performing any action.

This situation suggests that my personal information may have been accessed by third parties without my consent, which makes me believe my privacy and security have been compromised. I reported the incident to both the hotel and Booking.com, but I have not received any response yet. At this time, I have not noticed any signs of my personal or financial data being used, but I am very concerned about a potential data breach.

I request that my personal information and bank accounts be protected, that this incident be thoroughly investigated, and that proper security measures be taken. I also want to emphasize that I am not responsible for any actions taken without my knowledge or consent, and I urgently request support to ensure I do not experience any harm.
