The person claimed to be a hotel representative. The message included all of my reservation details and asked me to complete a verification step. When they stated that my reservation would be canceled otherwise, I unintentionally clicked the link they sent, but I closed the page without performing any action.
This situation suggests that my personal information may have been accessed by third parties without my consent, which makes me believe my privacy and security have been compromised. I reported the incident to both the hotel and Booking.com, but I have not received any response yet. At this time, I have not noticed any signs of my personal or financial data being used, but I am very concerned about a potential data breach.
