Booking.com Charged Me for Fake Reservations at My Camps

Some years ago, my property (Ngerengere River Eco Camp) was registered on Booking.com. Very unfortunately, I started to receive fake reservations. I complained several times to the Booking.com admin. Very unfairly, Booking.com sent invoices claiming that I had to pay commission! There came a time when I was disappointed by the situation. I registered another property (Majengo Nature Camp), and again, I started to receive fake bookings. I wonder why Booking.com didn’t take measures to stop fake bookings for my properties. I would like to know if there are other mechanisms that can stop fake bookings, in case I am allowed to renew or activate my properties. I would also like to know if there are other methods where Booking.com receives payments from clients and pays me after the clients have checked in, while Booking.com deducts their commission beforehand. Let me hear from you. I thank you in advance. Best regards, Remmy
