I am the owner of a BMW 116i vehicle, and I have been experiencing a serious issue with the lower windshield seals for a long time. Although the car is used regularly, it has been well maintained and has not been exposed to any impact, misuse, or external damage. Despite this, there is noticeable wear, cracking, and deterioration in the seals located beneath the front windshield, and this condition has progressively worsened over time.

Through my research, I have found that premature wear of the front windshield seals in BMW 1 Series vehicles has been reported by many users and is widely considered a recurring issue. It is also evident that in similar cases, authorized BMW service centers have replaced these parts free of charge.

As the condition of the seals continues to degrade, it increases the risk of water leakage, wind noise, and a significant decline in the vehicle’s appearance. This situation does not align with the quality standards and customer satisfaction expected from a premium brand like BMW.

For these reasons, I request that the lower windshield seals on my vehicle be replaced free of charge, as this appears to be a known manufacturing-related issue and should not be passed on to the customer as a cost. Considering that many other users have received free replacements for the same problem, I expect equal treatment and a fair resolution.

I kindly request a clear and positive response regarding my complaint and my request for repair in Istanbul, Türkiye.
