Though I registered for BetterHelp in search of a therapist with particular training, the entire procedure made me uncomfortable. Before even seeing a therapist, I was not precisely informed I would be locked into a four-week subscription, which felt like a large step without knowing what I was truly getting into. The fact that nothing is known about the therapists personally troubled me more.
