I Used Bepanthol Pastilles but They Didn’t Relieve My Sore Throat at All
I was prescribed Bepanthol throat lozenges by a doctor at Memorial Hospital after experiencing throat swelling. Given the brand's strong presence in the pharmaceutical market, I had a certain level of trust and expectation. Unfortunately, the experience turned out to be extremely disappointing on multiple levels.
First of all, the price of the pastilles is high for a product that offers no noticeable benefit. Second, the taste is unpleasant and leaves a strange aftertaste that actually made me feel worse rather than better. But the biggest issue is that it did absolutely nothing to relieve my sore throat. No soothing effect, no comfort—just the feeling that I wasted my money on a useless product.
Honestly, I don’t understand why Bepanthol would even release a product like this. If I had taken something as absurd as chalk off a wall, it might have been more effective than this so-called medicated pastille. I expect a reliable pharmaceutical brand to offer relief—not just a pretty label and a price tag. I urge the company to re-evaluate this product’s formulation and issue refunds to those of us who feel let down and misled.
