I Used Bepanthol Sensiderm Cream and It Made My Eczema Worse

I purchased the Bepanthol Sensiderm Anti-Itch Cream based on its promises to relieve itching and repair the skin barrier, especially since it clearly states it is formulated for eczema-prone skin. I had high expectations given the brand’s reputation, but my experience was anything but positive.
The moment I applied the cream, my itching didn’t improve—it got significantly worse. Not only that, but the redness on my skin intensified and within a short time, my skin began to crack and bleed. Although the itching slightly decreased after about 30 minutes, the burning sensation and redness persisted. The cracked areas became more sensitive and painful as time passed.
I relied on Bepanthol’s claim that this product would soothe and restore damaged skin, but it did the opposite. Instead of healing, it aggravated my condition and caused further skin trauma. I feel incredibly disappointed and misled. I spent money on a product that promised relief and healing, and instead I ended up with worsened symptoms and a product I’ll never use again. I demand an explanation and an appropriate resolution.
