I had high hopes for the Beko BM 9019i model dishwasher because it was touted as Beko's top-tier machine, available at the same price as Siemens dishwashers with a 10-year basket warranty. However, rust began to appear on the dishwashing baskets just 6 months after purchase. I wasn't too concerned because I assumed the warranty would cover replacements. The replacement basket, however, was a far cry from the original. It didn't match in color or have the Beko branding. It's as if an aftermarket component was substituted for a genuine Beko component. This is analogous to installing a white hood on a black car at the service center. The replaced part should at the very least match the original's cosmetic and quality standards. It should be a comparable or superior part, not something completely different. Regrettably, I've decided not to buy anything else from the Arçelik group in the future.
