-On November 23, 2024, a Barbour item was purchased as a gift from a London store. Unfortunately, the size was too small, so I went to the Barbour Soylu store in Selamiçeşme, Turkey, expecting a simple exchange. Despite having the original receipt and tags attached, they refused, saying they don’t accept exchanges for items bought abroad.
This makes no sense, especially since the exact same product is sold in Turkey. There is no logical reason to deny an exchange, and this goes against consumer rights. Barbour operates under the same brand name in Turkey, yet they refuse basic customer service.
I will be reporting this issue to Consumer Rights authorities and filing a complaint with Barbour’s headquarters.
