AXA's Unfair Denial of Coverage Due to Preexisting Condition
For many years, my wife and I have been covered by an Axa supplementary health insurance policy. My spouse had to have emergency surgery this week due to a condition that had a cyst prior to the insurance policy. Unfortunately, they did not offer to pay for the surgery, citing the preexisting condition as their justification, which added to the stress. It is perplexing how a common condition, such as a simple cyst, which can naturally shrink or vanish over time, can be equated to an unrelated mass, resulting in a denial of coverage. Given that this issue has yet to be resolved, I want to make it abundantly clear that, if necessary, I will take it to court and file a complaint with the Consumer Arbitration Board.
The complaint reflected through your website by Mr. A. has been taken into consideration by our Company. Further information on the matter will be provided. Best regards, AXA SİGORTA A.Ş. Customer Complaint Management
